● Start installing automatic headlights
Before starting the installation, you need to turn off the car and turn off the power completely. You can’t idle the air conditioner because the weather is hot recently, or listen to music to understand the boredom, because there is a certain danger in live operation.
As we all know, the original model without automatic headlights, the headlight switch must not have the AUTO block, so under normal circumstances, we need to purchase another headlight control switch with the AUTO block. But nothing is absolute. At present, the automatic headlight control modules produced by some manufacturers can be turned off to AUTO by default, thus saving the cost of purchasing headlight control switches for car owners. However, we still recommend that you buy a new one with AUTO. the headlight control switch, which gives the opportunity to absolutely turn off the headlights.
You can adjust the sensitivity of the sensing light according to your own needs. It is suggested that you can adjust it to be more sensitive, so that the headlights will turn on more quickly in places where the light is slightly weaker. Usually in the city, as long as it’s not high beam, you can’t go wrong with the headlights in most situations. As for the function settings, it is recommended that you turn on the tunnel mode. It can be used normally. The most important thing is that it is the line of the width light that is used for the home function, so it is necessary to change the fuse of the width light, otherwise the strong current will instantly burn the fuse of the width light.
Below we start to dismantle the original headlight switch, which is actually very simple. Press and hold the switch in the closing gear, then turn it clockwise about 10 degrees, and then pull it out, and the whole headlight switch will be pulled out. The process It can be done in 10 seconds.
After unplugging the original headlight switch, connect the headlight control module to the cable on the car. If the connection is successful, a short piece of music will sound. If the music plays, it means that we have succeeded more than half. If the music does not play, please check whether the contact is bad, or whether the headlight control module is faulty.

Then take the light sensor and cables out of the fuse box, and plan the route of the cables reasonably according to the required length. Usually, the cables are routed along the edge of the center console. Be careful not to leave too many cables outside, because too many cables are likely to cause the extra cables to have nowhere to put after the cables are finished.
Then tie the excess cables with special plastic ropes. The plastic ropes we use here are included with the purchased set, so there is no need to prepare them yourself. Then close the cover of the fuse box with each of its clips fully snapped into place.
Then use a flat-blade screwdriver to carefully pierce all the exposed cables into the gap of the center console, and then stick the light sensor to the front end of the center console, so that it can fully sense the actual amount of light from the outside world. Make the right judgment.
Finally, connect the headlight switch with AUTO gear to the control module, and then put the headlight switch back to its original position. Here you need to pay attention to the highlights. First: Before installing the headlight switch, be sure to see if it is a headlight switch with AUTO gear, and don’t put the switch you just removed back on. Second: When the headlight switch is turned back to its original position It must be closed.
At this time, all the work is completed, you only need to screw it to the AUTO block and you can leave it alone. Of course, if it is foggy, please manually screw it to the headlight open block, and manually turn on the fog lights, because in the AUTO block It is impossible to turn on automatically when the fog lights are turned on.
After installation, after experience, after the vehicle enters the tunnel, the headlights are turned on in time, and the response time is about 3 seconds, which is basically not much different from the original factory. The response time when the vehicle is closed after exiting the tunnel is also about 3 seconds. The performance is quite satisfactory.
