The manufacturing process of the ignition coil contain 15 steps, please see the process diagram below.

Produce process for Ignition coil

The most important include 4 key processes.

1. Incoming factory inspection

1.1. Enameled wire detection enameled wire, enameled round wire product standards; GB6109-90 series standards:

a) The surface (appearance) of the enameled wire should be smooth, uniform in color, free of particles, oxidation, hair, yin and yang surfaces, black spots, peeling paint and other defects that affect performance. There are many factors that affect the surface by pressing the line and retracting freely. It is related to factors such as raw materials, paint, equipment, technology, and the environment.

b) Size detection of enameled round wire, including: external dimension (outer diameter) D

Conductor diameter: d

Conductor deviation: △d

Circularity of the conductor: f

The thickness of the paint film: t

1.2. Epoxy testing

a) Under the temperature of -60 degrees and 140 degrees for 30 minutes, observe whether the epoxy resin is cracked;

b) Insulation test: It is found that the resin is poured into the iron can, placed in the oven to simulate the heating of the customer’s workpiece, and the change of resistance is measured at the same time, and the resistance of different materials at different times, different temperatures, and different reaction conditions can also be compared. Variety.

2. Coil continuity test

Use a multimeter to check whether the primary and secondary coils are open.

3. High temperature vacuum encapsulation

Under high temperature conditions, vacuum the ignition coil to encapsulate epoxy resin

Finished product inspection

4. Finished product inspection

The performance of the ignition coil can be tested on the universal test bench, and the performance of the ignition coil can be judged mainly by measuring the flashover gap.

Only by strictly controlling the quality in above processes, can we produce qualified ignition coils.
