1. Annual sales of 3.65 million vehicles in 2025, of which electric vehicles account for 30%
Geely , Lynk & Co, Zeekr and Geometry brands are targeting sales of 3.65 million units in 2025, expanding their presence as market share leaders among Chinese automakers. Electric vehicles will account for 30 percent of the sales target for 2025, or more than 1 million units per year.
2. Zeekr to achieve 650,000 vehicles by 2025
The Zeekr brand of high-end electric vehicles is targeting annual sales of 650,000 units and 350,000 units for other electric vehicle models.
In March 2021, the Group announced two Blue plans to provide users from different segments and markets with more sustainable and greener travel options. The first blue Geely plan focuses on the research and development of intelligent and ultra-efficient hybrid powertrain solutions, which can be seen in the promotion of the Group’s next-generation GHS2.0 hybrid powertrain. The second Blue Geely initiative focused on developing smart pure electric vehicle technology, resulting in the launch of the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) and the premium electric Zeekr brand.
With a global automotive group and mature electric vehicle technology, the Zeekr brand has mature electric vehicle technology, and its first model, Zeekr 001, will be launched in the first half of 2021 and is highly anticipated. Orders for the Zeekr 001 are open on day one, more than 5,000 units have received confirmed orders, and in just one month, all deliverables for 2021 have been sold out.
In September 2021, the first Zeekr brand experience centers will open simultaneously in Hangzhou and Shanghai. The first 360kw ultra-fast charging station in Zhejiang Province will be open to the public in the fourth quarter of 2021, and will soon be in rapid operation nationwide
3. Geely and Lynk & Co to promote next-generation ultra-efficient hybrid systems
In the second half of 2021, the Group plans to launch the GHS2.0 intelligent hybrid system with a thermal efficiency of 43.32% and a fuel saving rate of 40%, leading the industry. The GHS2.0 hybrid system will be installed on the flagship models of the Geely Auto brand and will be offered on 10 new models of the group within three years. In addition to the GHS2.0 hybrid system, the Group also plans to increase the battery size of plug-in hybrid models and expand the cruising range of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles to 100-200 kilometers. The increased range will allow more users to meet 90% of their daily travel needs with zero-emission pure electric propulsion.
In recent years, Geely group has launched Geely, Lynk & Co and Geometry brand products globally, among which the Geely brand is steadily building its brand influence in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, South America and Russia; Lynk & Co is on schedule Expanding the delivery of its innovative subscription operating model and efficient hybrid model, and also plans to announce its Asia Pacific expansion plans in the second half of 2021.
