When maintaining vehicle batteries, the following 4 safety regulations should be observed.

(1) When moving the battery, handle it with care and do not tilt it, so as to avoid the electrolyte splashing on the clothes or the skin, causing corrosion or burning the meat. If splashed, rinse immediately with clean water.

(2) When checking the specific gravity and liquid level of the electrolyte, keep the instrument slightly away from the electrolyte injection port, and do not lift the instrument too high to prevent the electrolyte from splashing.

(3) It is forbidden to put oil containers and various metal objects on the battery case.

(4) When preparing the electrolyte, a ceramic container should be used, and the sulfuric acid should be slowly poured into the water. It is absolutely forbidden to pour water into the indication sulfuric acid. When water is poured into sulfuric acid, the temperature rises sharply, and a large amount of steam is generated, causing the sulfuric acid to splash and burn the skin and clothing, and even cause the container to burst and cause an accident.
