How to remove and install the ignition coil by yourself? See the post from a Chinese driver below.

Remove the ignition coil

1.In order to remove the ignition coil, please prepare the tools.

2. Stop the car and park the car, turn off the engine, then disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

3. Use a 5mm Allen key to remove the engine hood and screw on the oil cap.

4. Mark the ignition wires. (Note: I made the marks from top to bottom and from left to right, just for the marking and it has nothing to do with the order of the ignition wires).

5. Press the catch and pull out the ignition coil plug.

6. Unplug the ignition wire.

7. Use a square screwdriver and 10mm socket to remove the ignition coil.

Install the ignition coil

8. Install the ignition coil.

9. Insert and tighten the bolts with a torque of 10 N.m.

10. Insert the ignition coil plug (key point: the order of the ignition wires cannot be messed up, and the mark is to be inserted back in the original order).

11. Install the engine hood.
